AluCaddy foldable

The foldable AluCaddy by Sortimo is a professional solution for craftsmen and tradespeople who want to make their daily work in the van more efficient. In daily use, the organization and secure transport of tools and building materials are often in the foreground. A cluttered load space not only leads to loss of time when searching for the right material, but can also affect safety on the road. The foldable AluCaddy closes this gap by offering a stable and flexible platform to bundle and secure cargo. Especially for companies that are often on the road and have to transport a wide variety of materials, this product is a valuable support. It enables quick access to frequently used items and helps to accelerate work processes at the site of operation. The combination of robust material and thoughtful design makes it an indispensable component of a modern van racking.

The construction of the product is based on aluminum, a material known for its high strength at the same time low weight. This choice of material ensures that the organizer is stable enough to carry heavy loads without becoming an unnecessary weight factor in the vehicle. The Sortimo aluminum organizer concept relies on durability and resilience. By using aluminum, the product is also corrosion-resistant, which is particularly advantageous in moist environments or when transporting wet materials. The question of whether the AluCaddy is made of stainless aluminum can be answered technically by stating that aluminum does not show rust formation on its own, as it forms a protective oxide layer. This ensures a long service life even under harsh operating conditions. The surface is smooth and easy to clean, which improves hygiene in the vehicle and facilitates maintenance.

In addition to material quality, the AluCaddy convinces with its practical folding function. The name foldable AluCaddy is program: The system can be folded up after use and then takes up only little space. This property is crucial for optimizing the storage volume in the van. When the caddy is not needed, it can be stored space-saving, creating valuable space for other cargo. The folding box aluminum is therefore not only a storage surface, but also a space miracle in the vehicle. The mechanics are designed to be robust and to function reliably even after frequent opening and closing. The assembly is kept simple, so that the transport system can be made ready for use in a few steps. This saves valuable time in daily work and reduces physical strain when handling.

The technical data of the product underline its suitability for professional use. The external dimensions are 800 x 500 x 80 mm, providing a generous base area for the reception of tools, boxes or individual components. With a weight of only 5.44 kg, the device is easy to handle, even when fully loaded. The maximum payload is 150 kg, which enables a high load capacity for heavy materials such as bricks, tiles or metal profiles. The foldable aluminum organizer 150 kg is thus well equipped for most everyday transport tasks in the craft trade. These values show that Sortimo has focused on a balance between stability and lightweight construction in development. The dimensions are chosen so that they integrate well into the standard dimensions of vehicles and other Sortimo systems.

A central aspect of use is the compatibility with various BOXX systems. The foldable AluCaddy for L-BOXX is specifically designed to optimally complement the well-known L-BOXX systems from Sortimo. It is suitable for the LT-BOXX, the L-BOXX 102 G4 and the L-BOXX 136 G4. This compatibility allows craftsmen to seamlessly expand their existing systems. The tool storage for van can thus serve as a base to stack and secure several BOXXes next to each other or on top of each other. This promotes orderly load securing and prevents individual boxes from sliding around in the vehicle. The L-BOXX accessory function of the caddy is thus an important building block for a modular van racking. Craftsmen can store their tools in a structured manner and have everything important within reach without having to constantly reorganize the vehicle.

The safety of the cargo is of high importance with this product. An integrated, adjustable strap with quick-release buckle allows the cargo to be securely fixed on the caddy. This strap makes it possible to hold different objects and boxes firmly without having to buy additional accessories. The adjustment is quick and easy, as the quick-release buckle allows intuitive operation. Grooves are also present in the crossbars of the caddy. These grooves are used to hold hanging adapters. With these adapters, regularly transported objects can be fixed. This is particularly advantageous for irregular or bulky parts that would not lie stably on a flat surface. The possibility of using the foldable tool storage in the vehicle also means that the securing options can be flexibly adapted to the respective cargo.

Typical areas of application for the foldable AluCaddy are all commercial areas that deal with transport and assembly. Electricians, plumbing and heating installers, carpenters and painters can benefit from the folding storage for LT-BOXX. The product is also a sensible addition in garden and landscape construction or in metal processing. The tool storage for van helps to keep track of the equipment. Instead of storing individual parts loosely in the trunk, they can be systematically placed and secured on the caddy. This reduces the risk of damage to tools and vehicle interior. In addition, the working time at the site of operation is shortened, as emptying and sorting takes place more efficiently. The aluminum organizer for fleet is ideal for companies with several vehicles, as it promotes standardized processes.
