SR5 Pro or SR5 Max — which line suits you?
The difference between the lines is not one of quality but of depth of fit-out. SR5 Pro covers what most service vehicles need: shelves, trays, pull-outs and case mounts in a cleanly planned grid. SR5 Max builds on that when bespoke solutions come into play — deeper pull-outs, worktops with a vice, additional securing elements. Because both lines use the same grid, the decision is not final: a Pro fit-out can be extended with Max modules later on.

Every kilogram counts
The racking counts towards the kerb weight. We calculate the weight of your configuration before the quotation.
Keep an eye on axle loads
Heavy modules belong ahead of the rear axle — otherwise you lose traction and the rear axle reaches its limit.
Hand height instead of stooping
Whatever is needed daily goes between hip and shoulder height. Heavy equipment stays low down.
Anchoring as specified
Bolting is done at the points the vehicle manufacturer provides — no welding, no bonding.
BOXXes instead of loose crates
Case mounts hold the boxes firmly in the shelf. At the job site you take them out individually, without repacking.

Change vehicles without buying new
Because SR5 is bolted in and not bonded, the racking moves across into the next vehicle. We dismantle it in Essen, close the fixing points in the old vehicle and adapt vehicle-specific parts such as the floor panel and the wall connection. Most of the modules are retained — that noticeably reduces the cost of changing vehicles.
Calculating payload properly
The racking, the tools, the material and the people all have to fit within the permissible gross weight together. We put together the weight of the planned configuration before you order and show where module choices can save kilograms — with electric vans that is often decisive.
Load securing from the start
ProSafe lashing points sit directly in the shelf frame, lashing rails in the load floor. That way you secure machines and bulky goods with the same straps you carry anyway — instead of retrofitting securing points later.

Van racking makes the working day easier
Fixed places for tools, machines and material mean less searching, fewer trips and a professional impression at the customer's. The racking is planned around your workflows — not the other way round.
Less wear and loss thanks to secure vehicle shelving
Loose loads damage material and vehicle. In trays, drawers and case mounts everything is protected and safely stowed — that noticeably reduces replacement purchases.

SR5 Pro and SR5 Max: the difference in practice
Both lines use the same lightweight grid and the same fixing points — the difference lies in the depth of fit-out. SR5 Pro is the standard line for service vehicles with a fixed stock of tools and material: shelves, trays, pull-outs, case mounts. SR5 Max adds further options for pull-outs and worktops as well as more deeply integrated load securing — worthwhile wherever people actually work in the vehicle rather than just transporting things. Because the grid is identical, a Pro fit-out can be extended with Max modules later without replacing the basic installation.
Lightweight construction, payload and axle load — why weight is the key figure
Every kilogram of racking counts towards the kerb weight and therefore comes straight off the payload. Anyone carrying material, tools and two people reaches the limit of a 3.5-tonne van faster than the vehicle documents suggest. That is why we calculate the weight of the planned configuration before the quotation and show where a tray instead of a pull-out, or aluminium instead of steel, saves kilograms. The second point is distribution: heavy modules belong ahead of the rear axle so that the axle loads stay within the permissible range and the vehicle handles properly.
Changing vehicles: transfer the racking instead of buying new
SR5 is bolted in, not bonded or welded. When you change vehicles we dismantle the system, close the fixing points in the vehicle being returned and rebuild the modules in its successor. What is vehicle-specific is mainly the floor panel, the wall connection and the cladding — shelf frames, shelves, pull-outs and case mounts are generally retained. For businesses with a fixed replacement cycle that is the decisive economic point: instead of a complete reinvestment, only adaptation parts and working time are incurred.
Installation in Essen: what happens during fitting
Installation takes place in our own workshop in Essen and takes between half a working day and two working days depending on scope. Bolting is done at the points provided by the vehicle manufacturer; where additional fixings are needed we work to the system manufacturer's specifications and seal the areas against corrosion. Electrical fit-out, load space lighting, load securing and signwriting are all done in the same appointment so that the vehicle is only off the road once. At handover we brief you on operation, locking and securing.
