The second core benefit is the journey there. Instead of carrying case, machine and material crate separately, the loaded station rolls to the job site in one go. Large wheels and a telescopic handle keep it manageable for one person even when loaded; it is rolled into the vehicle over the loading edge or a ramp.

Finding the right configuration
WorkMo is not a finished product but a modular kit — and that is exactly why the configuration decides whether the station helps in everyday work or gets in the way. During the consultation we go through three questions: how long do you stay at one job site? What working height do you need? And what absolutely has to come with you, what stays in the vehicle? From that follow the number of modules, the worktop material and the split between drawers and BOXX mounts.
Six points you should clarify before configuring:
Measure the loading edge
The height of the loading edge decides whether a lower base module or a loading rail is needed.
Plan the footprint
The station takes up a fixed area in the load space — in return, separate tool crates and shelf modules become unnecessary.
Count the weight in
Permanently installed, the station counts towards the kerb weight; lashed down, it counts as load — either way it comes off the payload.
Keep the centre of gravity low
Heavy drawer contents belong at the bottom so that the station stays stable when rolling and working.
Sort out the power
The site connection is enough for the power strip; mains-independent operation needs a second battery and an inverter.
Provide for securing
Lashing points or a mount in the racking belong in the planning — not in the accessories afterwards.

Ergonomics on site: why working height counts
Working on the floor or on improvised trestles costs not just pace but substance. Anyone cutting, screwing or fitting for several hours a day while bent over puts a lasting strain on back and knees. The module heights of WorkMo can be combined so that the worktop stands at the height that suits the process: lower for forceful work using body weight, higher for fine assembly and testing work. In businesses with an older workforce that is often the argument that carries the purchase.
Power supply on site
For the power strip on the station the site connection is usually enough — a cable reel and a multi-socket are among the most common attachments. It is different if you want to work in the vehicle or without a mains connection: then you need an electrical fit-out with a second battery, a split charge relay and an inverter so that the starter battery stays protected. Charger mounts for cordless equipment can be fitted to the perforated panel or a module; whether charging is possible while driving depends on the vehicle's fit-out and is settled during planning.
Securing the station properly in the vehicle
A loaded workstation is a heavy single object and correspondingly dangerous under emergency braking. Parking brakes on the castors are not load securing. Securing is done via lashing points in the load floor or via a mount in the van racking in which the station sits form-fit. Before every journey a glance at the pull-outs is part of the routine: all drawers must be engaged, doors closed and, where necessary, locked.
Combining WorkMo and van racking
Station and racking do not compete, they complement each other. The racking holds the basic stock that always stays in the vehicle; the station takes what goes to the specific job site. Because both use the same BOXX grid, cases and Insetboxes move back and forth between them without being repacked. During planning we compare the footprint of the station with the shelf modules it saves — the net loss of load area is often smaller than expected.

- Permanent outdoor use exposed to the weather — overnight the station belongs in the vehicle or in a container
- Heavy forming work in the vice without wall support: for forceful bending and hammering a fixed work bench is the better base
- Vehicles with a high loading edge and no ramp or loading rail
