C-BOXX with lid

The organization of tools and materials in the vehicle is a crucial factor for efficient workflows in the trades and industry. A cluttered load leads to time loss when searching for required parts and increases the risk of damage from loose items. The C-BOXX with lid from Sortimo offers a professional solution here, specifically designed to create order and ensure the safe transport of small parts, tools, and consumables. This robust transport box combines the advantages of stable storage with the flexibility that modern tradespeople need in their daily operations. Whether in carpentry, metalworking, plumbing and heating installation, or electrical service – the universal applicability makes this product an indispensable companion for every professional driver. The focus is on the combination of high stability, practical handling, and optimal adaptation to the conditions in the panel van or commercial vehicle.

The construction of the C-BOXX is functional and designed for durability. The box features a bucket-like design that provides a large storage volume of 17 liters. This shaping ensures that even irregularly shaped tools or loose small parts can be stored securely without falling out. The lid is an integral part of the design and seals the box dust-tight. This protects the contents from dirt, moisture, and dust, which is particularly important for sensitive electrical components or clean parts. Another structural feature is the folding handle. It allows for comfortable carrying of the loaded box and can be laid flat against the side after use. This function is not only useful for transporting to the site, but also serves space-saving storage when the box is placed in the vehicle or in the warehouse. The integration of such details underscores Sortimo's understanding of the daily challenges in the trades.

The technical data of the C-BOXX with lid are precise values that define suitability for specific application scenarios. The external dimensions are 311 x 309 x 306 mm, while the internal dimensions are 250 x 250 x 275 mm. These dimensions result in a load space of 0.063 m². The empty weight of the box is 1.44 kg, making it handy and easy to handle without sacrificing stability. The material used is a combination of polypropylene (PP) and polyamide (PA6). These plastics are known for their high resistance to chemicals, oil, grease, and mechanical stress. They ensure that the box retains its shape and function even under rough conditions on the construction site or in daily workshop use. The maximum payload of the C-BOXX is 20 kg, qualifying it for the transport of heavier tool sets or material supplies. Additionally, the lid load capacity is specified as 85 kg. This value is crucial for safety when the box is used as a base for further loads or when used in stacking systems, always noting the stability of the underlying structure.

The areas of application for the C-BOXX are diverse and cover almost all activities in the trades, industrial service, and logistics. Due to the large storage volume, it is ideal for the transport and storage of tools. Screwdrivers, pliers, measuring instruments, or small hand tools find a fixed place in the box. Consumables such as screws, dowels, adhesive tapes, or sealants can also be packed neatly. A particular advantage is shown when transporting dirty dismantled parts. The dust-tight lid prevents oil, grease, or dirt from old parts from being transferred to other, clean tools or the vehicle interior. This contributes to a clean working environment and reduces the cleaning effort in the vehicle. The C-BOXX thus serves not only for order, but also for hygiene and the protection of valuable equipment.

The advantages of this transport solution lie in its versatility and robustness. It offers structured storage that reduces working time through quick identification of tools. The dust-tight closure protects the contents from external influences. The high load capacity of 20 kg enables the transport of heavy loads. The low empty weight of 1.44 kg does not unnecessarily burden the driver. The folding handle design enables space-saving storage in the vehicle. The material combination of PP and PA6 ensures durability and chemical resistance. Compatibility with the slots in the upper edge allows for the adaptation of ProClick tool pockets, optimizing the workflow. The size is optimally matched to shelf modules and shelf module trays of Sortimo van racking.

The classification within the Sortimo system shows how this product fits into a larger overall strategy of vehicle organization. Sortimo develops van racking that is tailored to the needs of professionals. The C-BOXX is designed as part of this ecosystem to complement the existing modular systems. It makes optimal use of the available structures in the vehicle and integrates seamlessly into the existing shelf modules and trays. Due to the standardized dimensions, it can be efficiently integrated into the existing infrastructure. This enables drivers to organize their load in such a way that every centimeter in the vehicle is utilized. The C-BOXX is thus more than just a single box; it is a building block for a thoughtful concept of load securing and work preparation. It supports Sortimo's philosophy of saving time through intelligent organization and increasing productivity in the field.
